Anardil (TA 136-TA 411) the sixth King of Gondor, son of Earendil. He ruled for 87 years, in what seemed to be an uneventful reign. He is known as the last Gondorian King to rule exclusively from Osigiliath. Upon his death his son Ostoher took the throne.
Trivia– Anardil is a Quenya word and is explained as meaning “Lover of the Sun”. ‘Anar’-Sun ‘dil’-Friend/lover
