Ornendil (Prior to TA 1330-TA 1437) was the eldest son of King Eldacar of Gondor and the older brother to Aldamir.
During the civil war in Gondor broke out after Castamir usurped the throne, Ornendil fought side by side with his father.
However, while holding Osgiliath during a siege Eldacar and Aldamir managed to escape but Ornendil was captured and put to death by Castamir, leaving no heir that’s known of.
He was eventually avenged by his father Eldacar after he killed Castamir during the Battle of the Crossings of Erui in TA 1447.
